SERVICE OF CELEBRATION: 4:00 PM, Monday, February 23, 2015 at Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church

INTERMENT: will be a private family service

VISITATION: 3:00 – 4:00 PM, Monday, prior to the service at the church

HISTORY: Mrs. Linton was born October 20, 1956 in Bennettsville, SC a daughter of the late Melton and Elva Griggs Carpenter. She was a 1975 graduate of Cheraw High School, a former employee of Weller Cooper Tools, and a retired employee of INA USA. Sandy was a member of Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church. She enjoyed fishing, watching humming birds, and gardening. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Don Linton; a brother, James Melton Carpenter; and a sister Victoria Sue Carpenter.

1 Son: John R. Linton and fiancée Anna Owens of Cheraw, SC
1 Daughter: Tori Linton (Tyson) Vooge of Great Falls, MT
3 Grandchildren: Addisyn, Vance, and Everley Vooge
2 Brothers: Richard Jackson of Wallace, SC and Robert Jackson of Bennettsville, SC
3 Sisters: Deborah C. Adams and Peggy C. (James) Sellers of Cheraw, SC, and Mary Herndon of Bennettsville, SC
Also several Nieces, a Nephew, and special cat "Pepper"
