FUNERAL SERVICE: 2:00 PM, Tuesday, August 12, 2014 at Westfield Creek Baptist Church

INTERMENT: will follow in Chatham Hill Memorial Gardens

VISITATION: 6:00 - 8:00 PM, Monday, August 11, 2014 at Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home.

HISTORY: Mrs. Moore was born June 20, 1927 in Chesterfield, SC, a daughter of the late Luther Peter and Annie McLain Grooms. She was the retired owner and operator of Farmer's Grocery in the Cash community and was a former employee of B.C. Moore's and Sacony. Myrtle was also a patient caregiver and was a member of Westfield Creek Baptist Church. She enjoyed word search puzzles, cooking, reading and helping others. In addition to her parents, Myrtle was also preceded in death by her husband, James Hazel Moore, a son, Randy Moore, 3 daughters, Faye and Lucille Moore and infant Moore, a sister Dorothy G. Baskins, and by 2 brothers, Bradley and Carl Grooms.

5 Great Grandchildren: Kaelyn, Kendall, and Trey Brock and Katie and Jeremy Phillips
1 Brother: L.P. (Gladys) Grooms of Patrick, SC
