HISTORY: Mr. Oxendine was born December 12, 1945 in Rowland, NC a son of the late Wilton Hunt and Mazola Oxendine. He was a retired supervisor with Carolina Canners with 45 years of service, and a member of Westside Baptist Church. N. L. enjoyed riding his tractor, fishing, and gardening. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his two sons, Jimmy Ray Oxendine and Matthew Wayne "Matt" Oxendine; and two brothers, William Gary Oxendine and Earl Hunt.
