Neil Hinson

Mr. Neil Sellers Hinson, age 46, formerly of Chesterfield, SC, died Monday, June 13, 2016.

He was born July 2, 1969, in Chesterfield, SC, a son of Margie Sellers Hinson Hood and the late Ronnie Neil Hinson. Neil was a 1987 graduate of Chesterfield High School and was a former employee of INA USA. He enjoyed fishing and working on the computer, and loved sports, especially football. Neil was a avid Carolina Gamecock fan, and had a deep love for all animals, especially cats, having had as many as 8 at one time. He was also a lifelong member of Shiloh United Methodist Church, and was a U.S. Army veteran, with the 82nd Airborne Division. Neil was a true people person, and had the gift of being able to talk with anyone.

Neil is survived by his wife, Anna Quick Hinson; his mother and stepfather, Margie and Wayne Hood of Chesterfield, SC.; his stepson, Rosell Quick of Chesterfield, SC; brother, Mike (Fern) Hinson of Chesterfield, SC, stepbrother, Chad (Dawn) Hood of Summerville, SC, and his grandmother, Julia Rae Griffin of Chesterfield, SC. Neil is also survived by aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A Celebration of Life Service will be at 11:00 A.M., Friday, June 24, 2016 at Shiloh United Methodist Church, with Inurnment to follow in the Church Cemetery. The family will receive family and friends, Friday, June 24, 2016 from 10:00 – 11:00 A.M. prior to the service in the Church Fellowship Hall.
