Mrs. Nell Elaine Ratliff Wilkerson, age 68, entered into rest on Thursday, October 25, 2018. Funeral Services will be 4:00 PM Sunday, October 28, 2018 from the Chapel of Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Clanton Plains Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will greet friends Sunday from 3:00 – 4:00 PM prior to the service at the funeral home.

Mrs. Wilkerson was born February 21, 1950 in Chesterfield County, SC a daughter of the late Duncan L Ratliff and Ruth Lucille Gulledge Ratliff. She was former manager of Jim’s Variety Store, and formerly employed with United Insurance, and Crown Cork and Seal. Mrs. Wilkerson was a lifetime member of Clanton Plains Baptist Church and enjoyed photography. Her greatest passion in life was being a loving mother to her baby girl, Wendy.

In addition to her parents, Nell was also preceded in death by her beloved husband, James Ronny Wilkerson; a brother, Harry Dean Ratliff; and brother-in-law, Jerry Wilkerson.

Survivors include her daughter, Wendy Wilkerson (Michael) Sellers of the home; brother, Billy Gene (Vickie) Ratliff of Ruby, SC; sisters, Joyce Ann Ratliff Mills of Ruby, SC, Iris Ratliff Deese of Ruby, SC, and Janice Ratliff Parker of Chesterfield, SC; granddaughter of the heart, Hannah “Jessie” Priest; sisters-in-law, Bonnie W. (Jimmy) McCormick of Wadesboro, NC, Cathy W. (Bucky) Parker of Cheraw, SC, Debbie W. Smith of Cheraw, SC, Sherry Wilkerson of Chesterfield, SC, Debbie Wilkerson of Ruby, SC, and Myrtle Ratliff of Cheraw, SC.

Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 128 Stonemark Lane, Columbia, SC 29210 or to a charity of one’s choice.
