Nina Gail "Susie" Hendrix Sellers

Graveside services for Mrs. Nina Gail "Susie" Hendrix Sellers, 70, will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Monday, October 26, 2020 at Darlington Memory Gardens. The Rev. John Griggs and the Rev. Tom McCrea will officiate with Brown-Pennington-Atkins Funeral Directors caring for the family. The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. on Sunday at the funeral home.

Mrs. Sellers entered into rest on Saturday, October 24, 2020. Born in Darlington County, SC, she was a daughter of the late Franklin Wallace and Alice Boatwright Hendrix. She was a member of the Gathering Place Church of the Nazarene (formerly Hartsville First Church of the Nazarene) where she was active in the nursery and a Sunday School teacher for many years. She had a servants heart that was always willing to help others. She was an inspiration to others, kept a positive attitude and was known for her smile and laughter. Susie was very patriotic, an excellent cook, and enjoyed family gatherings. She loved flowers, but her greatest love was her family.

Surviving are her husband of 51 years, Ernest Dean Sellers of Hartsville, SC; daughters, Deanna Sellers (Ryan) Lesene of Hartsville, SC, Kim Sellers (Jeff) Griffin of Charlotte, NC, Charity Sellers (Frankie) Cassidy of Hartsville, SC; grandchildren, Charles Lesene, Patrick Lesene both of Hartsville, SC, Nathaniel Griffin and Nicholas Griffin both of Charlotte, NC; siblings, Nancy (William) Jeffords of Darlington, SC, Darrell (Henrietta) Hendrix of Hartsville, SC, Larry (Eva) Hendrix, Sr. of Cheraw, SC, Joyce, Lovato of Charleston, SC; numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
