N. Kay Fitzpatrick

Cheraw, SC

N. Kay Fitzpatrick, age 77, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, May 29, 2021 at her home with her loving family by her side. A private graveside service will be 11:00 AM Wednesday, June 23, 2021 at Pine Grove Baptist Church Cemetery by Pastor Mark Phillips.

Ms. Fitzpatrick was born May 3, 1944 in Clarksburg, West VA a daughter of the late T.S. and Hazel A. Davis Fitzpatrick. Kay lived in Franklin, (Pendleton County) West VA over 31 years prior to moving to SC to be with her sister and brother-in-law in February, 2020. She was a retired bookkeeper with Union National Bank of Clarksburg, West VA with over 17 years of experience. Kay gave her life to the Lord and was saved, baptized, and joined the Evangelical United Brethren Church of Morgan’s Run, West VA many years ago. She had a deep love for God, her family, and the family pet, “Yaka,” that was by her side until the end. She had a special bond with her brother-in-law, Michael, and was grateful for their friendship. No matter if you addressed her as Kay, “Kitty,” Mayor,” or “Fitzy,” you knew she was your friend and had a heart of gold.

Survivors include her brother, Dennis T. (Mindi) Fitzpatrick of Glenville, West VA, and their daughter, Mandi (Jason) Poole, and their children, Isaac, Jacob, and Leah; sister, Lita “Penny” (Michael M.) Jenkins of Cheraw, SC, and their daughter, Sandra (Craig) Elam, and their children, Tyler, and Sierra, and her daughter, Riley.

The family would like to acknowledge and offer a special Thank You to the staff of Regency SouthernCare Hospice of Chesterfield for their amazing service and incredible support to Kay and her family.
