Norma Hatcher Price

Mrs. Norma Hatcher Price, age 75, entered into rest on Sunday, March 6, 2022 at her home with her family by her side. A private family graveside service will be held in the Fork Creek United Methodist Church Cemetery by Pastor David Christopher.

Mrs. Price was born May 11, 1946 in Pardeeville, WI a daughter of the late Troy and Gertrude Sullivan Hatcher. She was a loving homemaker and a dedicated caregiver to numerous family members through the years. Norma was a member of Fork Creek United Methodist Church. Mrs. Price enjoyed reading, sewing, and decorating her home. Other hobbies included working with crafts, woodworking, and working in her beautiful flower gardens. Above all else, Norma was a true people person and was always seeking ways to tell others about Jesus.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Price was also preceded in death by her brother, Jonathan “Jon” Hatcher.

Survivors include her husband of nearly 58 years, Bobby B. Price of the home; son, Rodney (Ann) Price of Jefferson, SC, and Dawn Price (Rev. Tim) Steen of Archdale, NC; grandchildren, Jada (Daniel) Hazlett of Asheboro, NC, and Macie (Aaron) Sheehan of Archdale, NC; great grandchildren, Hatcher, Samuel, Olivia, Jonathan, Ophelia, Sullivan, and Charlie; brothers, Charles (Joyce) Hatcher of Campobello, SC, and Dennis (Vickie) Hatcher of Cassatt, SC; sister, Harriet (Ernie) Rollings of Ridgeway, SC; sister-in-law, Faye Hatcher of Virginia Beach, VA; and numerous friends including her best friend for over 50 years, Wanda Dean of Atlanta, GA.
