INTERMENT: will follow in the church cemetery

VISITATION: 6:00 - 8:00 PM, Thursday, August 28, 2008 at the funeral home

HISTORY: Mrs. Morse was born October 25, 1910 in Chesterfield County a daughter of the late Elisha P. and Mary Elizabeth Cranford Perdue. She was a homemaker and the oldest member of Pine Grove Baptist Church. Mrs. Morse was first married to the late Henry V. Griggs and then to the late A. J. Morse, and was also preceded in death by a son, Grady F. Griggs; two daughters; Ruby G. Smith and Ruth Helen G. Atkinson; and by a granddaughter; Mona Lisa Parker; and a great, great, grandchild, Lane Tyler Pond.
