INTERMENT: will follow in the Fairview Baptist Church Cemetery

VISITATION: 6:00 - 8:00 PM, Saturday at Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home

HISTORY: Mr. Owens was born May 15, 1919 in Darlington, SC a son of the late James Oscar and Janie Ellis Owens. He was a retired logger. Mr. Owens was married to the late Lillie Mae Windham Owens and was also preceded in death by a son Oscar "Bud" Owens, Jr.

4 Daughters: Martha (Paul) Brumley of Kannapolis, NC, Patricia Owens of Ruby, SC, Janie Jordan of Pageland, SC, and Carolyn (Johnny) Hamilton of Mt. Croghan, SC
Daughter-in-law: Goldie Owens of Chesterfield, SC
Also 24 Grandchildren, 48 Great Grandchildren, and 5 Great, Great Grandchildren
