Mr. Owen Conrad Rivers, Jr., age 65, entered into rest on Thursday, January 19, 2017. Funeral services will be 4:00 PM Sunday, January 22, 2017 from the chapel of Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home by Jason Terry and Brent Taylor with burial to follow in the Mt. Croghan United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will greet friends from 3:00 – 4:00 PM Sunday, prior to the service at the funeral home and anytime on Friday, January 20, 2017 at the home of Jason and Dawn Terry.

Mr. Rivers was born August 8, 1951 in Mt. Croghan, SC the son of the late Owen Conrad, Sr. and Vera Baucom Rivers. He was a former employee of Challenger Industries and attended Mt. Croghan United Methodist Church. Mr. Rivers was an avid Clemson Tigers fan and a long-time member of the IPTAY club. Conrad was a devoted son and caretaker for his mother for many years and in his spare time enjoyed fishing.

Survivors include his special friend, Wanda Terry and her mother, Fenish Payne both of Kershaw, SC; his children of the heart whom he referred to as “His Couple”, Jason and Dawn Terry and their children, Will and Brantlee Terry of Chesterfield, SC.
