Pamela "Pam" Hatcher Ard

Mrs. Pamela “Pam” Hatcher Ard, age 62, entered into rest on Friday, October 11, 2019 at her home. Funeral services will be 4:00 PM Sunday, October 13, 2019 from the Chapel of Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home by Rev. Brandon Ard and Rev. Russell Miles with burial to follow in the Chatham Hill Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 PM Saturday, October 12, 2019 at Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home.

Mrs. Ard was born November 14, 1956 in Cheraw, SC a daughter of the late Carnell and Margaret Cumber Hatcher. She was a former employee of First Bank of Cheraw and a former life insurance agent with Liberty Life Insurance Company. A lady with a God-given singing voice, Pam enjoyed singing with her family and other groups throughout the years. She enjoyed attending Middendorf Church of God. In addition to singing, she also enjoyed shopping and baking cakes. A loving wife, mother, and grandmother, Pam’s greatest enjoyment was time spent with her family.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Ard was also preceded in death by her daughter, Alison Ard; and father-in-law, Liston E. Ard.

Survivors include her beloved husband of 45 years, Kenneth D. Ard of the home; son, Bryan (Meredith) Ard of Moore, SC; daughter, Brooke Ard (Jason) Maxwell of Rock Hill, SC; grandson, Ben Ard; brother, Greg (Lynn) Hatcher of Wallace, SC; mother-in-law, Rosie Belle Ard; brothers-in-law, Ronald (Bonnie) Ard, and William (Anne) Lewis all of Cheraw, SC; and numerous nieces and nephews.
