FUNERAL SERVICE: 4:00 PM, Friday, December 28, 2012 at Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home Chapel

INTERMENT: will follow in the Shiloh United Methodist Church Cemetery

VISITATION: is 3:00 - 4:00 PM, Friday, prior to the service at the Funeral Home

HISTORY: Mrs. Owen was born January 18, 1952 in Chesterfield, SC a daughter of the late William Lucas "Bill" Stafford and Martha Elizabeth Lewis Stafford. She was a 1970 graduate of Chesterfield High School and was also a graduate of Columbia Commercial College. Pansy was a retired Chesterfield County Codes Enforcement Officer, and was one of the few women in SC to be certified by the International Building Codes. Pansy was a former bank employee, a former dispatcher and clerk with the Pageland Police Department, a former employee of Sandhills Eye Clinic, and was a former WCRL radio announcer. Mrs. Owen was a member of Shiloh United Methodist Church. She enjoyed painting, jewelry making, gardening and yard work, and playing the piano. Pansy most enjoyed caring for and spending time with her family. In addition to her parents, Pansy was also preceded in death by a nephew Dale Owen

Husband: Jim Owen of the home
2 Daughters: Meghan E. (Josh) Faulkenberry of Chesterfield, SC and Jamie D. Owen of Ruby, SC
1 Brother: William L. Stafford of Chesterfield, SC
2 Sisters: Barbara S. (Glenn) Gulledge of Cheraw, SC and Jeanie S. (Jerry) King of Chesterfield, SC
Grandchildren: Owen A. Faulkenberry and Shiloh G. Faulkenberry
Also Numerous Special Nieces and Nephews whom she loved dearly.
