DECEASED: Mrs. Pat Caulder Thompson, age 65 went home to be with her Lord on Saturday, March 28, 2015, after a courageous battle with cancer.

SERVICE OF CELEBRATION: 11: 00 A.M. Wednesday, April 1, 2015 at Chesterfield Baptist Church

INTERMENT: will follow in the Chesterfield Cemetery

HISTORY: Mrs. Thompson was born January 29, 1950 in Wadesboro, NC, a daughter of Miriam Campbell Caulder and the late Phillip Caston "P.C." Caulder, Sr. She was a 1967 graduate of Chesterfield High School and received her BA degree in sociology from Winthrop College. Pat was a former social worker with the Chesterfield County DSS, and had also worked with Vocational Rehabilitation, SC Legal Services, and Chesterfield Health Department. She was a member and former secretary of Chesterfield Baptist Church. She enjoyed music, reading, and walking and talking with her friends. Pat's favorite thing was spending time with her grandchildren and family. She was a friend to many, and often expressed her love for friends and family with personal notes and cards.

Stepdaughter: Ashley Thompson (Phillip) Lowe of Florence, SC
Grandchildren: Jack Sawyer and Abby and Ross Reeves
Mother: Miriam C. Caulder of Chesterfield, SC
Sisters: Peggy C. (Rev. Howard) Harding of Laurinburg, NC, Sissy C. (Harold) Adams and Penny C. (Cotton) Dixon both of Chesterfield, SC
Brother: Phillip C. (Yetive) Caulder, Jr. of Chesterfield, SC
Also several Nieces and Nephews, including Special Niece: Ashley (Neil) Hawkins and their children, Josh and Lauren of Monroe, NC
