Gayle Kimrey Crowley

Cheraw, SC

          Mrs. Gayle Crowley, age 69, entered into rest on Wednesday, December 6, 2023 at her home. Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Monday, December 11, 2023 from the Chapel of Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home by Brent Taylor with burial to follow in the Chatham Hill Memorial Gardens. The family will greet friends from 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM Monday, prior to the service at the funeral home.

          Mrs. Crowley was born April 17, 1954 in Rockingham, NC a daughter of the late Milton Lee and Patricia Ann Davis Kimrey. She was a former cashier at Wal-Mart for over 25 years, where she was known for being the quickest cashier. Gayle enjoyed attending Cash Baptist Church. However, her ultimate source of joy and happiness was her cherished granddaughter, Madison. Mrs. Crowley treasured their moments together, especially during fishing trips when she proudly assumed the role of "Nana."

          In addition to her parents, Mrs. Crowley was also preceded in death by her sister, Martha Kay Kimrey.

          Survivors include her husband, Ricky Crowley of the home; daughter, Amanda Crowley of Cheraw, SC; granddaughter, Madison Smith; and siblings, Kathy Brewer, Lynn Kimrey, Rocky Kimrey, and Jerri  (Tiffany) Foxworth all of Cheraw, SC.

          Memorials may be made to MRC Funeral Home, 318 E. Main Street, Chesterfield, SC 29709 to assist the family.
