Patricia R. (Roscoe) Shepley

Patricia R. Shepley, age 70, passed away on Tuesday October 15th, 2024, with her family by her side at her home in Myrtle Beach, S.C. She was born on August 5th, 1954, in Cheraw, SC to the late James Henry and Margaret Williams Roscoe.

Pat was a retired administrative assistant for the Georgetown Housing Authority in Georgetown, SC. She loved spending time with family and friends, her morning coffee with her daughter Dawn and time at the beach. She was an animal lover that had many fur babies through the many years as well as her grand dog “Bailey “who she loved. She had a beautiful spirit and infectious laugh that brightened your day. Her beautiful smile would light up the room. She will be deeply missed but fondly remembered by her family and friends.

Left to cherish her memories are her daughters Patricia Dawn Harrell of Surfside Beach, SC and Dana Marie Polson of Greenville, SC, grandson; Dawson Snipes, brothers; Henry Ted (Charlotte) Roscoe of Kingston, OH, Larry (Maxine) Roscoe of Cheraw, SC, sisters; Wanda (Bill) Short of Ruby, SC, Sylvia Spangler of Chesterfield, SC, numerous nieces and two nephews, a special friend Mark Cooley.

A celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, October 20th, 2024, at Burroughs Funeral Home, 3558 Old Kings Hwy, Murrells Inlet, SC. Gathering of friends and family @ 12 pm and service to follow @1pm.

The family would like to thank Agape Hospice of Myrtle Beach, SC for their support and comfort during this difficult time. A special thank you to Mary (Hospice Nurse) and Shelley (Chaplain). Also, we would like to thank her neighbors Wanda and Eddie for their help and comfort.

In lieu of flowers the family has requested that memorial donations in Pat’s name can be made to any animal shelter of one’s choice.
