Pattie Bernice Brown Cassidy

Chesterfield, SC

          Ms. Pattie Bernice Brown Cassidy, age 89, entered into rest on Sunday, November 27, 2022. A Celebration of Life Service with inurnment following in the Brown Family Cemetery will be announced in the coming weeks.

          Ms. Cassidy was born January 2, 1933 in Wadesboro, NC a daughter of the late Thaniel Morgan Brown and Helen Louise Gardner Bennett. She was a retired employee of Chesterfield Manufacturing and a member of Bay Springs Baptist Church. Pattie learned to play the piano by ear at an early age and enjoyed playing for several area churches throughout the years. She also enjoyed sewing and making clothes for her family, working in her garden, and taking care of animals.

          In addition to her parents, Ms. Cassidy was also preceded in death by her sister, Hilda B. Roscoe.

          Survivors include her daughter, Paula C. (Marvin) Aycock of Chesterfield, SC; grandchildren, Sydney Morgan Aycock, Madison Elizabeth Aycock, and Adrian (Deborah) Aycock; great grandchildren, Natalie Horton, and Audrina Aycock; brother, Rev. Bill Brown of Greer, SC; special niece, Bobbie Gail (Aaron) Crowley of Patrick, SC; and special cousin, Leroy Brown of Hartsville, SC.
