HISTORY: Mrs. Adams was born April 2, 1939 in Chesterfield, SC a daughter of the late Grady Lee and Mary Kirven Smith. She was a retired employee of Chesterfield Manufacturing and a homemaker. Mrs. Adams was a member of First Southern Methodist Church. Peggy enjoyed fishing at the beach, crocheting, and growing vegetables. In addition to her parents, Peggy was preceded in death by her husband J. T. Adams; her brothers, Dwight and Perry Smith; and by a sister, Ella Shaw.
