Ms. Peggy Sue McIntyre, age 57, entered into rest on Saturday, March 25, 2017 at her home. A Celebration of Life Service will be held 11:00 AM Thursday, March 30, 2017 from the Chapel of Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home. The family will greet friends immediately following the service at the funeral home and other times at the home of her sister, Millie Joplin.

Ms. McIntyre was born February 20, 1960 a daughter of Doris Eddins Thurman and the late Bobby Thurman. She was a member of Long Branch Baptist Church and a homemaker. Ms. McIntyre enjoyed sewing, cooking, and gardening.

In addition to her father, Peggy was also preceded in death by a nephew, Bobby Hudson.

Survivors include her companion, Billy “Bill” Oliver, Jr. of the home; 3 sons, Wayne (Shasta) Thurman of Kershaw, SC, Jonathan (Lynn) McIntyre of Camden, SC, and Matthew (Asia) McIntyre of Kershaw, SC; 6 grandchildren; mother, Doris Eddins Thurman of Jefferson, SC; 3 brothers, Bobby Thurman of Mt. Croghan, SC, Larry Thurman of Jefferson, SC, and Timothy Thurman of Jefferson, SC; 2 sisters, Barbara Gail “Boots” Thurman of Chesterfield, SC, and Millie (Danny) Joplin of Mt. Croghan, SC.
