Mrs. Peggy Moser Williams, passed away peacefully on April 21, 2022. Mrs. Williams was born April 9, 1952 in Monroe, North Carolina. She is survived by her husband, James “Ed” Williams, her daughters; Lisa (Steve) Blair and Nichole (Adam) King, five grandchildren, Abigail & Shelby Blair, Ashley & Katie Shabo, and Corey King. She is also survived by her sister, Karen (Jim) Presson.
Peggy was extremely fortunate to be cared for by her longtime friends and caregivers, Dale Gray, Charlie Gray, Gale Griggs and their families. She was blessed to be cared for by her daughter Lisa in the early stages of her disease. A special recognition goes to Kristen Sellers of Regency Hospice as her “Angel” nurse during her final days.
Peggy retired from employment on Bald Head Island, North Carolina to support a family business and her husband’s endeavors. Peggy worked on Bald Head Island for several years and loved the daily ferry commute.
Peggy was an avid PRO-LIFE advocate and volunteered at BirthRight in St. Joseph, Michigan. Peggy provided love and support to women facing unplanned pregnancies.
Peggy’s love of the outdoors and the ocean led to her passion of walking. During her later years, she became obsessed with walking and would frequently walk from early morning until sundown. She logged thousands of miles.
Peggy was a devout Christian and one of her most memorable times was her Walk to Emmaus with her sister Karen. She was truly an angel on earth and to know her was to love her.
Peggy’s kindness and generosity was felt by all that came in contact with her. Her greatest love was to be a kind and caring “Yaya” for her grandchildren. She was the perfect grandmother and poured all her love into her family until dementia took its toll on this beautiful lady.
No flowers please. Donations may be made to Regency Hospice in Chesterfield, SC.
May God bless her.
