DECEASED: Mr. Pete Hurst, age 73, surrounded by his Loving Family, went home to be with His Lord, Sunday, August 8, 2010.

FUNERAL SERVICE: 4:00 P.M. Wednesday, August 11, 2010 at Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home Chapel.

INTERMENT: to follow in the Oakland Baptist Church Cemetery

VISITATION: 6:00 - 8:00 P.M. Tuesday, August 10, 2010 at the Funeral Home.

HISTORY: Mr. Hurst was born July 21, 1937, in Chesterfield, SC, a son of the late Robert Wesley and Pearline Therrell Hurst. He was a retired Millwright and a U. S. Army Veteran. Mr. Hurst was a faithful member of Southern Grace Full Gospel Church. Pete was an avid trader and outdoorsman. He enjoyed riding horses, raising livestock, cutting wood, camping, talking with his friends, and making new friends. In addition to his parents, Pete was preceded in death by a son, John Wesley Hurst.

3 Step Grandchildren: Nathan, Wyatt, and Breanna Bosman
