Polly Ann Hutchinson Gathings

Mrs. Polly Ann Hutchinson Gathings, age 83, formerly of Chesterfield, SC, entered into rest on Tuesday, April 24, 2018.  Funeral Services will be at 3:00 PM Friday, April 27, from the Chapel of Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home by Rev. Mark Phillips and Phillip Caulder, Jr.  The family will greet friends from 2:00-3:00 PM prior to the service at the funeral home.

Mrs. Gathings was born on August 17, 1934, in Exway, NC, a daughter of the late Joseph Calvin and Mordeci Hunsucker Hutchinson.  She was a retired employee of Weller Industries and a member of Pine Grove Baptist Church.  Polly enjoyed making crafts and crocheting.

In addition to her parents, Polly was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene P. Gathings.

Her survivors include her daughter, Pamela Clark of Bluffton, SC; 3 sons, Eugene P. Gathings, Jr. of Manning, SC, David P. (Kathy) Gathings, of Summerton, SC, and John (Tammy) Gathings of Ruby, SC; 8 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren; and 1 sister, Serena Wilson of GA.
