Randy Gulledge

Mr. Randy Gulledge, age 67, formerly of Patrick, SC, entered into rest on Monday, November 4, 2024 at WakeMed Health and Hospital of Raleigh, NC. Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Saturday, November 9, 2024 from the Chapel of Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home by Brent Taylor with burial to follow in the Cross Branch Baptist Church Cemetery, Patrick, SC. The family will greet friends from 12:00 – 1:00 PM Saturday, prior to the service at the funeral home.

Mr. Gulledge was born June 9, 1957 in Chesterfield, SC a son of the late Roy and Mary Lee Lewis Gulledge. He spent his entire career working as a logger. Mr. Gulledge and his family grew up attending Cross Branch Baptist Church. He enjoyed working on race cars and playing cards with friends. His favorite pastime was spending time with his grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Gulledge was also preceded in death by his brother, Robert Levoid Gulledge; sister, Shirley Griggs; and grandson, Michael Wayne Gulledge.

Survivors include his sons, Michael Wayne Gulledge of Sanford, NC, Kenneth Darrell (Angel) Gulledge of Hartsville, SC, and Randy “Lil Randy” Gulledge, Jr. of Patrick, SC; daughters, Crystal G. Byrd of Patrick, SC, Brandy Michelle (Brandon) Gulledge of Sanford, NC; step-son, Justin Sanderson of Johnsonville, NC step-daughters, Heather Hurley (Arin) Prescott of Winston Salem, NC, and Kristen Hall (J.J. Judd) of Pittsboro, NC; grandchildren, Harley Byrd, Samantha Byrd, Christin (Coty) Childers, Chandler (Anna Claire) Gulledge, Cruise (Kelsie) Gulledge, Brandon (Skylar) Gulledge, Alexis (Josh) Shumate, David Verlinich, Aiden Prescott, Buckie Owens, Makenziee Barnes, Kase Morrison, Alexander Wayne Gulledge, and Jonathyn Judd; 7 great grandchildren; sisters, Linda (Jessie) Sellers of Patrick, SC, and Wanda Melton of Bethune, SC; in addition to numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are being accepted at Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home (843) 623-2449, 318 E. Main Street, Chesterfield, SC 29709 to assist the family.
