Randy H. Mills

Mr. Randy Hazel Mills, age 68, entered into rest on Monday, June 18, 2018. Funeral Services will be 3:00 PM Wednesday, June 20, 2018 at Thompson Creek Baptist Church by Dr. Ronnie Grizzle with burial to follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends following the committal service in the fellowship hall of the church.

Mr. Mills was born June 23, 1949 in Chesterfield, SC a son of the late Hazel and Estelle Miles Mills. Randy was a life-long farmer and was the owner and operator of Randy Mills Farm, Inc. and R & L Timber Company, LLC. A devout Christian and member of Thompson Creek Baptist Church, Mr. Mills served as a deacon and choir member. An honest hard-working man, Randy enjoyed striking up a conversation with anyone and always had a joke to share that would make you laugh. He lived and instilled a dedicated work ethic in his children. A loving husband and proud father, Randy enjoyed spending time with his family, and especially his grandson, Caleb, who was the apple of his eye.

In addition to his parents, Randy was also preceded in death by his brothers, Wayne and Keith Mills.

Survivors include his wife of 48 years, Linda Sims Mills of the home; son, Kevin Mills and spouse, Rob Hinshaw of Greensboro, NC; daughter, Kim Mills Gooden and spouse, Marty; brother, Jerry Mills and spouse, Pam; sister, Mary Lynn Rivers and spouse, Steve; grandson, Caleb Gooden all of Chesterfield, SC; also numerous nieces and nephews.
