Mr. Rayford L. “Buddy” Burr, age 67, entered into rest on Saturday, November 25, 2017. Funeral Services will be 1:00 PM Tuesday, November 28, 2017 from the Chapel of Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home by Rev. Rick Henderson and Phillip Caulder, Jr. with burial to follow in the Friendship United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 PM Monday, November 27, 2017 at Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home.

Mr. Burr was born October 6, 1950 in Chesterfield, SC a son of the late Judson Lee and Nellie Caulder Burr. He was the overseer for Riverwood Farms for over 30 years and a member of Cross Roads Baptist Church. An avid outdoorsman, Buddy enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, and spending time with his family and friends.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Burr was also preceded in death by 1 son, Bobby Ray Burr; brother, Danny Ray Burr; and 5 sisters, Christine Holly, Irene Rhynes, Betsy Evans, Elizabeth Gulledge, and Peggy Simms.

Survivors include his wife of 46 years, Vernitta S. Burr of the home; son, Justin Burr of Chesterfield, SC; brother, Sonny Burr of Mt. Croghan, SC; also numerous nieces and nephews.
