MEMORIAL SERVICE: 11:00 AM, Friday, May 22, 2015 at Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home Chapel

INTERMENT: will follow in the Chatham Hill Memorial Gardens

VISITATION: is 10:00 – 11:00 AM, Friday, May 22, 2015, prior to the service at the Funeral Home

HISTORY: Mr. Carlson was born May 11, 1931 in New Britain, CT a son of the late Carl Raymond and Gertrude Anderson Carlson. He was a retired employee of INA Bearing with 30 years of service, and held the distinct honor of being the first employee hired at INA Bearing. Mr. Carlson was a member of St. David's Episcopal Church, and a U.S. Army Veteran. He enjoyed fishing, golfing, working in the yard, and most of all spending time with his family. In addition to his parents, Ray was preceded in death by his wife, Louise C. Carlson; 1 son, David Carlson; 1 daughter, Cindy Lou Carlson Goodwin; and his brother, Warren Carlson.

1 Daughter: Barbara Lynn Carlson
1 Step Daughter: Debbie Sellers Williams of Cheraw, SC

Daughter-in-law: Tina Carlson of Cheraw, SC
