Raymond Crystal Hill

Mr. Raymond Crystal Hill, age 70, entered into rest on June 29, 2018 at his home. A Celebration of Life Service will be held Saturday, July 7, 2018, at Calvary Presbyterian Church, located at 6520 Ray Road, in Raleigh, NC.  The visitation will be held from 2:45 - 3:30, and light refreshments will be served.  The service will begin at 3:30.

Mr. Hill was born May 27, 1948 in Parkton, NC a son of Doris Lee Hill and the late Crystal Walter Hill. He was a retired employee of AT&T with 23 years of service and a U.S. Army Veteran. Raymond enjoyed traveling and spending time with his family and friends and cheering for his favorite basketball team, the UNC Tar Heels. In his healthier years, he enjoyed riding his Harley.  Mr. Hill's favorite pastime was training and caring for his dogs.

In addition to his father, Raymond was also preceded in death by his brohter, William Jesse Hill, and 1 sister, Mary Lee Hill Wolfe.

Survivors include his devoted wife of 42 years, Wanda Brantley Hill of the home; 1 son, Travis Hill and wife, Holly of Clayton, NC; 2 grandchildren, Kai and Leo; mother, Doris Lee Hill of Red Springs, NC; and sister, Judy Hill (Charlie) Allison.
