Reginald Lisenby

Mr. Reginald Allen Lisenby "Reggie" age 77 of Charlotte, NC, passed away Tuesday, August 19, 2014 at Carolinas Medical Center, Charlotte, NC.

Services in celebration of his life will be on Saturday, August 23, 2014 at 2:00 P.M. at Heritage Funeral Home, Weddington Chapel, 3700 Forest Lawn Drive, Matthews, NC 28104. A reception will follow the service at the Funeral Home.

Mr. Lisenby was born on January 24, 1937 in Chesterfield, SC, a son of the late Mendel Lisenby and Leila Crawley Lisenby. After graduating from high school, Reggie proudly served our country in the US Navy for 12 years on the Admiral's Staff. He loved playing golf and never met a stranger. Reggie was the owner of City Reality for many years in Charlotte. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend to all, and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Survivors include his beloved wife and best friend of 52 years, Janice Singetary Lisenby; son Mark A. Lisenby of Jacksonville Beach, FL; grandchildren, Emily and Brandi Lisenby of Charlotte, NC; sister, Barbara (Mike) Oliver of Chesterfield, SC; sister-in-law, Marylee Westberry, Ponte Vedra Beach, Fl; nieces, Kathy (Christopher) Pearson of Dallas, TX, and Susan Oliver (formerly Trahan) Lafayette, LA; nephew, Robert Oliver of Raleigh, NC; great niece, Heather Trahan, of Houston, TX.; great nephews, Daniel and Nathan Pearson of Dallas, TX and Jacob Trahan, of Fort Bragg, NC; aunt, Jennie Raffaldt of Ruby, SC and uncle, James Schell of Phoenix, AZ.
