FUNERAL SERVICE: 4:00 P.M. Wednesday, March 12, 2008 at Pine View Baptist Church, Chesterfield, SC

INTERMENT: to follow in the Cedar Creek Baptist Church Cemetery, Hartsville, SC

VISITATION: 6:00 - 8:00 PM Tuesday at Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home, Chesterfield, SC

HISTORY: Rev. Lewis was born in Hartsville, SC a son of the late Maxie Brooks and Ruth Isgett Lewis. He was a graduate of Galilee Bible Institution with a degree in Theology, and was a Baptist Minister and Building Contractor. Rev. Lewis was former pastor of Pine View Baptist Church and New Hope Baptist Church, and served as interim pastor of Brown Springs, Mt. Olivet, and Piney Plains Baptist Churches. He was a member of Cross Roads Baptist Church. Rev. Lewis was preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers, James "Pete" Lewis, and Jerry "John" Lewis and by his sister, Valerie "Ann" Dixon.
