VISITATION: 10:00 - 11:00 AM, Tuesday, prior to the service at the Funeral Home
HISTORY: Mr. Laney was born February 15, 1956 in Chesterfield County, SC a son of the late Minor and Susie Knight Laney. He was a former heavy equipment operator and logger. Richard loved cars, enjoyed NASCAR, Drag Racing, and was an avid Dale Earnhardt, Sr. fan. He enjoyed fishing and watching Andy Griffith. In addition to his parents, Richard was preceded in death by 5 brothers, Pete, Titus, Clyde, William, and Edward Laney; and 3 sisters, Lessie Hargett, Katherine Outen, and Joann West.

3 Sisters: Louise Nichols, Frances Stevenson, and Carolyn Oliver all of Pageland, SC
