Rickey N. Green

Mr. Rickey Nelson Green, Sr. age 57, entered into rest on Tuesday, May 10, 2022 at his home. A Celebration of Life service will be 6:00 PM Friday, May 13, 2022 from the Chapel of Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home. The family will greet friends following the service at the funeral home.

Mr. Green was born July 15, 1964 in Chesterfield, SC a son of William Nelson Green and the late Madge Jordan Green Simpson. He was employed with JoAnn Fabrics for the past 33 years. Rickey enjoyed taking care of his animals and was an avid NASCAR fan, always pulling for Rusty Wallace.

In addition to his mother, Mr. Green was also preceded in death by his brother, Charles Lee Green; and step-father, Robert Lee “PaPa Smurf” Simpson.

Survivors include his wife of 22 years, Wendy Heustess Green of the home; children, Amanda (Roger) Baskins of Chesterfield, SC, Buddy (Kenneth) O’Neal of Patrick, SC; Lillian Green, Karlena Green, and Rickey Green, Jr. all of Chesterfield, SC; 10 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; father, William Nelson Green of Wallace, SC; brother, Caleb Green; and sister, Michaela Davis.
