HISTORY: Mr. Griffin was born in Monroe, NC a son of the late Robert Prenay Griffin and Dessie Lee Gerry Griffin Price. He was a retired Carpenter.

SURVIVORS: Wife: Patricia Jernigan Griffin of the home.

3 Sons: Robert Dean Griffin, Jr. of Pageland, SC, Eddie (Sharon) Griffin of Chesterfield, SC, and Thad (Martha) Brock of Chula Vista, CA

2 Daughters: Kimberley Kelley of Lancaster, SC and Christie Brock of Baton Rouge, LA

5 Grandchildren: Debbie, Kayla, Austin, and Hayden Griffin, and Taj Brock

Brother: Gerry Griffin of Pensacola, FL
