INTERMENT: to follow in the Pine Grove Baptist Church Cemetery

VISITATION: 1:00 - 3:00 PM Thursday, January 31, 2013 prior to the service at the Funeral Home

HISTORY: Mr. Gulledge was born September 23, 1932 in Chesterfield County, a son of the late Joel Bart Gulledge and Lucy Welsh Gulledge. He was a member of Chesterfield Baptist Church. Robert graduated from Zoar High School in 1950 as valedictorian. He was a gifted mechanic, working many years in Ruby, SC with Griggs Trucking, Hennis Freight Lines, and Tri- State Motor Co, and later worked with A.O. Smith in McBee, SC. "Jeek" enjoyed hunting, fishing, and with his green thumb, growing delicious fruits and vegetables. He was a Loving Husband, Father, Grandfather, and Great Grandfather. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his brother, Lloyd Gulledge, his sisters, Verdie Van Heusen, Ruby Wilkes, and Sara White, and by his son-in-law, Stan Widejko.

Grandchildren: Susan W.(Tommy) Edens of Chinquapin, NC, Dr. Cheryl Widejko of Chattanooga, TN, Dr. Lauren S.(Jason) Holliday of Columbia, SC, Beth S. (Kyle) Wagner of Columbia, SC, Dee Griffith of Columbia, SC, and Zach Gulledge of Chesterfield, SC Step Grandchild: Tyler Wallace of Chesterfield, SC
