HISTORY: Mr. Simpson was born October 20, 1945 in Durham, NC a son of the late Lee Simpson and Idell Langley Simpson. He was an auto mechanic. In addition to his parents, Robert was also preceded in death by his wife, Madge Jordan Simpson; and by his sister, Bobbie Carol McInvaille.
