FUNERAL SERVICE: 4:00 P.M. Monday, May 2, 2016 at Hopewell Baptist Church

INTERMENT: to follow in the Church Cemetery

VISITATION: 3:00 – 4:00 P.M. Monday, May 2, 2016, prior to the service at the Church

HISTORY: Mr. Stroud was born February 4, 1925, in Anson County, NC, a son of the late Clarence Dupree Stroud and Annie Privette Stroud. He was a retired employee of J. P. Stevens and a longtime member of Hopewell Baptist Church. Robert enjoyed gardening and riding around talking to people. In addition to his parents, Robert was also preceded in death by his wife Louise Sellers Stroud, his 5 brothers, Ernest, Tyler, Harvey, Floyd, and Flake Stroud, and by his 2 sisters, Ruth Vaughn and Arie Howlett

SURVIVORS: Son: Tony (Helen) Stroud of Chesterfield, SC 2 Granddaughters: Leigh Ann (Buck) White of Chesterfield, SC and Susie (Chris) Kilian of Mauldin, SC 5 Great Grandchildren: Krystan and Ashtan White and Katie, Kelly, and Christopher Kilian. . ALSO Nieces and Nephews
