Rodney T. Webster

Mr. Rodney T. Webster, age 69, entered into rest on Tuesday, October 23, 2018 at his home. Graveside Services will be 4:00 PM Thursday, October 25, 2018 at Hopewell Baptist Church Cemetery by Pastor Phil Wyatt. The family will greet friends immediately following the service at the cemetery.

Mr. Webster was born January 1, 1949 in Charlotte, NC a son of the late Robert L. and Iona Kulp Webster. He began his working career in the Maryland area in construction and also worked as police officer in Washington D.C. Rodney moved back to Chesterfield in the mid 1980’s and worked as a carpenter doing residential construction. An avid gun enthusiast, he enjoyed reading, and working on antique cars. Rodney was known for his “green thumb” and was always working in his garden and flowers.

Survivors include his special friend, Melinda Brigman of Chesterfield, SC; numerous cousins including Jerry Lou Messenger of Indian Trail, NC; and long-time friend, Sammy Jones.
