Roger Wayne Puckett

Mr. Roger Wayne Puckett, age 81, entered into eternal rest on Sunday May, 31, 2020. There are not any funeral arrangements to announce at this time. All online condolences will be forwarded to the family.

Roger was born November 23, 1938 in Rock Hill, SC a son of the late G.M. and Mildred Taylor Puckett.  Roger retired from Crown, Cork & Seal with 20 years of service and was a proud Army veteran. He loved sports and throughout his life competed in martial arts and boxing. Roger loved to be outdoors and loved to hunt, fish, shoot archery, and enjoyed gold panning. In his quiet time, Roger loved to read and recently started learning to speak the Hebrew language.

In addition to his parents, Roger was preceded in death by his brother Donnie Puckett and a grand-daughter April Chappell.

Survivors include his wife of 56 years Evelyn Bost Puckett of the home; sons, Jason (Laura Kelly) Puckett of Columbia, SC and Eric (Stacey Fulton) Puckett of Manning, SC; daughter, Teri VanSant of  New Port News, VA; in addition to 8 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.
