DECEASED: Mr. Ronald L. "Pop" Gulledge, age 56, passed away peacefully July 7, 2008 at Hospice and Palliative Care, Charlotte Region.

FUNERAL SERVICE: 11:00 AM Friday, July 11, 2008 at McEwen Pineville Chapel.

INTERMENT: 3:00 PM Friday, July 11, 2008 at the Pine Grove Baptist Church Cemetery, Chesterfield, SC

VISITATION: 7:00 - 9:00 PM Thursday July 10, 2008 at McEwen Pineville Chapel

HISTORY: Mr. Gulledge was born June 17, 1952 in Charlotte, NC the son of the late Lloyd Samuel Gulledge and Ruby Brock Gulledge. He is preceded in death by a brother, Lloyd Gulledge, Jr.

SURVIVORS: Left to cherish fond memories are his:
Devoted wife of 31 years: Linda Gulledge of the home
Four Children: Kimberly Murphy and her husband Richard Murphy of Salisbury, NC, Scott Tolliver of Charlotte, NC, Rhonda Gulledge, and Renee Gulledge of Charlotte, NC
Two Grandchildren who were the light of his life: Jordan and Kelsie Murphy
Brother and Sister-in-Law: Kenneth and Sherry Gulledge of Charlotte, NC
Sister and Brother-in-Law: Jeanne and Bill Schmidt of Newton, NC
Also: Numerous equally beloved nieces, nephews, and cousins

"We admired his faith, were blessed to be his children and will miss him greatly." He was known for his clever wittiness, never met a stranger.
