Ronnie James Joplin

Mr. Ronnie James Joplin, age 59, entered into rest on Saturday evening, August 17, 2024. Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Wednesday, August 21, 2024 from the Chapel of Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home by Reverend Joey Rowell and Reverend Corey Joplin with burial to follow in the Greenlawn Memorial Park. The family will greet friends from 10:00 – 11:00 AM Wednesday, prior to the service at the funeral home.

Mr. Joplin was born June 4, 1965 in Chesterfield County, SC a son of Martha Craig Griffin and the late Perry Lee Joplin. He was employed with Conbraco Industries for the past 13 years and previously worked with FEMA disaster assistance. Ronnie enjoyed auto restoration work and was proud to help his late father Perry, restore his 1988 Chevrolet pickup truck. Ronnie was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan and long-time NASCAR fan of Dale Earnhardt.

In addition to his father, Ronnie was also preceded in death by a brother, Marty Wayne Joplin, and brother-in-law, Larry Steen.

Survivors include his companion of 25 years, Kelly Alexander of the home; children, Carrie Lynn Joplin of Charlotte, NC, Jesse Wayne (Anna) Joplin, Christopher Perry Joplin, and Katelyn Marie Price all of Pageland, SC; grandchildren, Kalyssa, Bayden, Lyric, and Hudson; 1 great granddaughter; mother, Martha (Emsley) Griffin of Lancaster, SC; sister, Lisa Steen of Ruby, SC; brother, Danny (Gloria) Joplin of Jefferson, SC; mother-in-law, Vickie Alexander of Kannapolis, NC; in addition to numerous nieces and nephews.
