Rose Marie Hill

Mrs. Rose Marie Hill, age 79, entered into rest on Saturday, November 18, 2017 at her home surrounded by her loving family. A Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be 7:00 PM Tuesday, November 21, 2017 from the Chapel of Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home by Rev. Mike Rogers and Brent Taylor. The family will greet friends from 6:00 - 7:00 PM prior to the service at the funeral home.

Mrs. Hill was born December 25, 1937 in Fredricksburg, VA a daughter of the late Ivan Lee and Elsie Spindle Patton. She was a retired employee of Wix of Gastonia, NC. A long-time member of Nations Ford Church of God Mrs. Rose also enjoyed attending Southside Ministries of Pageland, SC. Mrs. Hill will be remembered for her love for the Lord and how much she enjoyed watching Joel Osteen. She also enjoyed playing bingo and spending time with her family.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Hill was also preceded in death by her husband, Ira Richard Hill; daughter, Rhonda Marie Hill; sons, Johnny Vance Hill, David Leroy Hill, and Richard Dale Hill; brother, Kenneth Patton; and sister, Velma Pearce.

Survivors include her daughters, April Stout of Pageland, SC and Tammy (Roosevelt Burch) Kovach of Jefferson, SC; 13 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren; siblings, Mary (Ken) Jones, Jeanie (Tommy) Dant, Bobby (Wendy) Askew, Dennis (Jeri) Askew, Joan (Patrick) Geiry, Joe (Nancy) Askew, Jeni (Dan) Scarano, Donna Raymond, Don (Connie) Askew; also numerous nieces and nephews.
