DECEASED: Mrs. Ruby Davis Smith, age 79, died Friday, August 6, 2010 at the home of her daughter and son-in-law.

FUNERAL SERVICE: 3:00 PM, Tuesday, August 10, 2010 at Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home Chapel, Chesterfield, SC

INTERMENT: will follow at Friendship United Methodist Church Cemetery, Chesterfield, SC

VISITATION: 2:00 - 3:00 PM Tuesday, prior to the service at the funeral home

HISTORY: Mrs. Smith was born November 13, 1930 in Chesterfield, SC a daughter of the late Nell Elizabeth Odom Davis Melton Hancock and Thomas Carl Davis. She was a homemaker and a member of Westside Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, Ruby was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Robert Lee "Rex" Smith and a brother, Gerald Davis.

Loving Daughter: Linda and son-in-law Herb Matthews of Columbia, SC
Brother: TC Davis of Bossier City, LA
Sister: Nancy Mangum of Pageland, SC
Also: numerous nieces and nephews, and great nieces and great nephews
