FUNERAL SERVICE: 12: 00 P.M. Wednesday, June 10, 2015 at Shiloh United Methodist Church

VISITATION: 11:00 A.M. – 12:00 P.M. Wednesday, June 10, 2015 prior to the service in the Church Fellowship Hall

INTERMENT: to follow in the Church Cemetery

HISTORY: Mrs. Gaskins was born August 19, 1920 in Hartsville, SC, a daughter of the late Wade Hampton Walters, Sr. and Lula Hawkins Walters. She was a graduate of Lydia High School and a retired employee of Sacony. Mrs. Gaskins was a member of Shiloh United Methodist Church. In addition to her parents, Ruby was also preceded in death by her husband Burch "Bird" Gaskins, 2 sons, Burch Gaskins, Jr. and William "Bo" Gaskins, and by 3 brothers, Wade "Dub", Carroll, and Hugh Walters.

Son: Jesse H. (Audrey) Gaskins of Cheraw, SC
Daughter: Pam (Jerry) Huntley of Chesterfield, SC
Daughter-in-law: Jackie E. Gaskins of Chesterfield, SC
6 Grandchildren: Sherry (Tim) Blizzard, Mark Huntley, Andy Gaskins, Amy (David) Huntley, Lisa (Kris) Hardwick, and Corlie (Jeriot) Burr. Also 11 Great Grandchildren
2 Brothers: Bill (Anne) Walters of Lugoff, SC and Leon (Brenda) Walters of Patrick, SC
2 Sisters: Johnnie Bryant and Pat (Sammie) Gibson of Hartsville, SC
Sister-in-law: Sue Walters of Hartsville, SC

The family wishes to thank the staff of Chesterfield Convalescent Center for the compassionate care given to their loved one, for the last couple of years, and to the other caregivers over the years.
