FUNERAL SERVICE: 4:00 PM, Tuesday, October 7, 2008 at Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home Chapel

INTERMENT: to follow in the Shiloh United Methodist Church Cemetery

VISITATION: will be 3:00 - 4:00 PM Tuesday prior to the service at the funeral home

HISTORY: Mrs. Melton was born in Chesterfield, SC a daughter of the late Fletcher Jerome and Bertha Therrell Johnson. She was a former store clerk and a weave instructor with Highland Industries. Ruby was married to the late Floyd Frank "Butch" Melton, and was also preceded in death by two brothers, Fletcher Johnson, Jr. and William M. Johnson; and four sisters, Margaret Rivers, Mary Frances Nolan, Beatrice Bill, and Helen Lewis.

1 Sister: Lydia J. (Jeter) Tolson of Chesterfield, SC
