FUNERAL SERVICE: 2:00 PM, Wednesday, January 23, 2008 at Shiloh United Methodist Church

INTERMENT: will follow in the church cemetery

VISITATION: 6:00 -8:00 PM, Tuesday at Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home, Chesterfield, SC

HISTORY: Mr. Rhode was born December 6, 1928 in Jonestown PA a son of the late William Peter and Rose Ann Gilbert Rhode. He helped to establish Chesterfield Manufacturing Company
and retired after 25 years in management. Mr. Rhode was an active member of Shiloh United Methodist Church where he was a choir member, a member of the United Methodist Men, and a member of the Men's Bible Class. Russell was an avid fisherman and enjoyed traveling and camping. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Alice Rhode; an infant daughter, Annette Rhode; stepson, Weldon Rivers; two sisters, Elsie (Mike) Walker and Alma (Dick) Degler; and by a brother, Arthur (Alma) Rhode.

Wife: Hazel Eudy Rhode of the home and her children Melinda (Clay) Treadaway, Brooke and Colton and Myra Rivers and Casey
1 Brother: Kenneth (Kay) Rhode
1 Sister: Rachel (Eugene) Moore
Special Step Children: Debbie Payne, Randy, Chris, William, and Robert Miller and step grandchildren.
Also a number of Nieces and Nephews
