FUNERAL SERVICE: 2:00 PM, Sunday, August 7, 2011 at Chesterfield Baptist Church
INTERMENT: will follow in the Chesterfield Cemetery
VISITATION: is 1:00 - 2:00 PM, Sunday, prior to the service in the church sanctuary
HISTORY: Mrs. Adams was born August 26, 1916 in McFarlan, NC a daughter of the late Alfred Dudley and Ila Mae Johnson White. She enjoyed a long career of over fifty years as a sewing machine operator. Mrs. Ruth was also a seamstress, homemaker, and loved gardening. She was a member of Chesterfield Baptist Church, where she was a dedicated choir member and a faithful member of the Lila Williston-Dorcas-Faithful Workers Sunday School Class. For over sixty years, she taught Adult Sunday School classes at Chesterfield Baptist Church, as well as Ebenezer United Methodist Church, and Westfield Creek Baptist Church. Mrs. Ruth loved her family and friends very much, and was a Witness to everyone she met. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Ruth was also preceded in death by her brother, James White, and by her sisters, Virginia White Thomas and Lois White Parker.

2 Grandchildren: Leigh Ann (Forrest "Buck") White of Chesterfield, SC and Suzanne (Christopher) Kilian of Lake Worth, FL
5 Great Grandchildren: Krystan White, Ashtan White, Kathryn Kilian, Kelly Kilian, and Christopher Kilian, II
Also Special Niece Miriam Stricklin, and Niece Betty (Jeff) Richardson
Nephews: Johnny (Crissy) White and James White
Also a number of great Nieces and Nephews
