VISITATION: 6:00 – 7:30 PM Thursday, August 20, 2015 at Bethel Baptist Church, 11078 Highway 151, Jefferson, SC 29718

HISTORY: Mrs. Hinson was born July 30, 1924 in Jefferson, SC a daughter of the late Ernest Plyer and Dora Boone Plyler Price. She was the retired owner and operator of Jefferson Cleaners and faithful member of Bethel Baptist Church. Mrs. Hinson loved her church and faithfully served the Lord as an Adult Sunday school teacher for over 50 years. Her favorite pastimes included reading her bible, and visiting neighbors and friends. In addition to her parents, Ruth was also preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Thomas Hinson, Sr.; 2 sons, Bobby K. Hinson and Richard W. Hinson; 4 brothers and 2 sisters.

2 Sons: Joseph T. Hinson, Jr. and wife, Diane of Fountain Inn, SC, and Lawson E. Hinson of N. Myrtle Beach, SC
2 Daughters: Sally H. Adams and husband, Carl of Jefferson, SC, and Wanda H. Neff of Monroe, NC
4 Grandchildren and 8 Great Grandchildren
1 Brother: Jimmy Price of Rock Hill, SC
Daughters in law: Jean Hinson of Jefferson, SC, and Linda Hinson of Mooresville, NC
Son in law: Ken Neff of Shelby, NC
