DATELINE: Mt. Croghan, SC

DECEASED: Mrs. Sara Rivers died Thursday, March 3, 2011, at her home. She was born to Sylvester and Molly H. Atkinson on May 18, 1912. Mrs. Rivers was a lifelong resident of Mt. Croghan and was a member of the Mt. Croghan United Methodist Church.
Preceded in death by her husband, W. Vane Rivers, she is survived by her daughter, Peggy of Columbia, SC and her son Jim.
There will be no visitation.
Graveside Funeral Services will be 1:00 P.M. Saturday, March 5, 2011 in the Mt. Croghan United Methodist Church Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Sara Rivers' memory to Hospice of Chesterfield County, P.O. Box 293, Chesterfield, SC 29709, or to a charity of one's choice.
