FUNERAL SERVICE: 2:00 PM, Monday, December 8, 2008 at Pine Grove Baptist Church

INTERMENT: will follow at Chatham Hill Memorial Gardens.

VISITATION: 4:00 - 6:00 PM Sunday, December 7, 2008 at Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home

HISTORY: Mrs. White was born March 26, 1928 in Ruby, SC a daughter of the late Joel Bart and Lucy Louise Welsh Gulledge. She was a graduate of Zoar High School and was a retired employee of Stanley Tools with 22 years of service. Sara was an avid floral and vegetable gardener, and enjoyed bird watching, especially humming birds. Mrs. White was a member of Pine Grove Baptist Church. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and friend. Sara was married to the late Clayton V. White, and was also preceded in death by a daughter, Bonnie W. Campbell, a brother, Lloyd Gulledge, and by 2 sisters, Ruby Wilkes and Verdie Mae Van Heusen.

6 Grandchildren: Billy Campbell of Colorado, Angie (Daniel) Smothers of Hartsville, SC, Michele (Jamie) Wood of Cheraw, SC, Barton Cole of Conway, SC, Katlyn Garris of Clemson, SC, and Bennett Cole of Cheraw, SC
3 Great Grandchildren: D.J. Smothers of Hartsville, SC, and Kaylee and Cameron Wood of Cheraw, SC
1 Brother: Robert "Jeek" (Miriam) Gulledge of Chesterfield, SC
