Mrs. Sarah Bell Jordan McIntyre, age 83, entered into rest on Friday, August 10, 2018 at her home. Funeral Services will be 4:00 PM Sunday, August 12, 2018 from the Chapel of Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home by Rev. Joey Oliver with burial to follow in the Clanton Plains Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will greet friends from 3:00 – 4:00 PM Sunday, prior to the service at the funeral home.
Mrs. McIntyre was born June 23, 1935 in Chesterfield, SC a daughter of the late Warfth and Mae Belle Eddins Jordan. She was a retired employee of Chesterfield Yarn Mills with nearly 40 years of service and a member of Hornsboro Baptist Church. Sarah Bell loved the Lord, her family, and her pets. She will be remembered as the matriarch of her family, and was revered as an honest, God fearing lady who had a special place in heart for children.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. McIntyre was also preceded in death by a daughter, Judy Collins; daughter in law, Peggy McIntyre; granddaughter, Leigh Ann James; great granddaughter, Bailey Hodge; brothers, Carl Jordan, William Jordan, and JC Adams.
Survivors include her husband of 61 years, Randolph McIntyre; children, Wanda (Buddy) Faulkenberry of McBee, SC, Rudolph (Sidney) Grooms of FL, Mary Ann Crisco of Kannapolis, NC, Franklin (Vicky) McIntyre of Ruby, SC, Eddie Wayne McIntyre of Pageland, SC, Katie (Gene) Dixon of Jefferson, SC, Margaret (Lynn) McClain, and John McIntyre both of Ruby, SC; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren; brother, Harold (Linda) Jordan of Beaufort, SC; numerous nieces, nephews, and beloved neighbor, James Pruitt.
