Mr. Selvy L. Baker, age 62, entered into rest on Thursday, May 4, 2017. Funeral Services will be 2:00 PM Sunday, May 7, 2017 from the Chapel of Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Patrick Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 PM Saturday, May 6, 2017 at Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home.

Mr. Baker was born September 8, 1954 in Sumter, SC a son of the late William Eugene and Essie Nesbitt Baker. Selvy owned and operated a produce stand for many years and enjoyed making friends and talking with people there. He attended Prince of Peace church and enjoyed playing the guitar and watching drag racing.

Survivors include his sons, Justin Baker and Ryan Baker both of Cheraw, SC; 2 grandchildren, Dalton Baker and Tanner Baker; 2 sisters, Beverly Royall of Darlington, SC and Wanda (Mike) Holland of Wallace, SC; Niece, Jaime (Charlie) Fuentes of Florence, SC; 4 Nephews, James (Sara) Presnell of Darlington, SC, Trent Royall of Florence, SC, Lauren Presnell of Charleston, SC, Matthew (Crystal) Johnson of New Jersey.
